Skorpios

Onassis' legendary island

Just minutes by boat from Nydri, Skorpios is the private island made famous by Aristotle Onassis. A lush green paradise with crystal-clear coves, tied to some of the most famous moments of the 20th century.

The story

Onassis acquired Skorpios in the 1960s and turned it into a legendary celebrity retreat; it was here that he married Jacqueline Kennedy in 1968. Today the island remains private, but its aura still captivates visitors sailing the surrounding waters.
